This is a monthly event so go ahead and mark your calendars for the last Friday of every month that has been building community in Winter Park for THREE YEARS! I can't believe its been so long!

Once a month, start your Friday evening and weekend off with an indoor facilitated community drum circle that will have you out on the streets with rhythm by 9pm. Bring your drums, shakers, and noisemakers. Jason of Giving World Percussion will be facilitating the circle and bringing drums. If you have your own please bring them along, but use our as well.

All ages are encouraged to attend. The circle molds itself to the attendees. If more children are present Jason will be sure to get them involved with games in the center circle and rhythm activities for all to enjoy.

Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes, clapping hands, and strong voices too! This circle of community music depends on a variety of sounds and people. This is one hour packed full of family music fun.

After drumming stroll over Ten Thousand Villages to enjoy some light refreshments and browse their selection of fair-trade goods created by more than 130 artisan groups in 38 countries throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America. Each month an area restaurant or store sponsors the event by providing drinks, food, snacks, etc.

July's drum circle is sponsored by Menchie's of Winter Park. They will be providing delicious frozen yogurt. Previous Sponsors: Pollo Tropical, Tropical Smoothie, Whole Foods, and many more. This event has been going for over two years.
